The biggest of THANK YOUS to my mentor and friend, Kris Cofiell of CnSand Portuguese Water Dogs, for starting me on this journey.  My first PWD is Moana from CnSand back in 2020, and all I wanted was a pet, with no real interest in breeding. But others would tell me how pretty and fun Moana is (she’s a well bred girl and a true PWD with LOTS of working drive). The gears slowly began turning…I was curious, and I wanted to be more than just a dog owner. I wanted to be a part of the continuation of this breed. I reached out to Kris and through her guidance, I began learning all things conformation, agility, water work, and the true animal husbandry that is becoming a dog breeder.  And a special thanks to my husband for allowing me to deep dive into this world.  Thank you to all the fellow breeders and PWD lovers I have had the privilege to learn from and get to know.  I continue to learn from this community and am honored to be a part of it.

I am a member of the PWDCA, PWDs NorthEast, Mayflower Portuguese Water Dogs, and Nutmeg Portuguese Water Dogs.  I enjoy grooming and showing my dogs myself as I’m learning from Kris.  I am training and competing in agility, water, and conformation events. But of course, my greatest joy is living the adventure life that is Vermont: skiing, hiking, biking, and swimming with my dogs.

All of my dogs are health tested as recommended by the PWDCA, up to date on vaccinations and preventative care, microchipped, and registered with the AKC.

Through my breeding, I am looking for families who will provide amazing homes for this energetic and intelligent breed. It is my goal to grow my program, preserve this breed, and stay true to its standard and temperament in a healthy and happy direction.
